The Cat Grooming Area

Hi my name is Sonia Browne and I am the owner and head groomer here at     C & D Grooming. My love affair with animals began when I was a small child working with my grandfarther and has grown stronger over the years .I have always kept ,bred ,and shown animals and also been an animal first aider. After working with local vets and animal rescues in the southwest where I grew up. I spent time with Ferne animal rescue as vet nurse and head of the Cat Section and the British Wild Animal section.  I moved  to Windsor in 1983 where I worked as a keeper and head of the Children’s Zoo (in particular the hand rearing and medicine,) I was part of the education team and worked with the Really Wild Show on tour I have worked with many different animals from ants to elephants and have over 30 years experience. After a number of years working freelance and operating a mobile grooming service .  I opened for buisiness here at Hogsters Farm, were I have converted a barn into the cat and dog grooming parlours. Every animal is treated as if it were my own with the greatest care and compassion I am also pleased to offer help and advice to owners with problems or questions. This is not just a grooming parlour it is haven of peace and support for our four legged friends and their families. We  specialise  with young and old, nervous or infirm animals, We take the time to make the whole thing fun , stress free and each grooming session is tailored to the animal’s own needs. Grooming includes nails, ears, anal glands, and full body check and only top quality eco friendly shampoos and conditioners are used.we also will use owners own shampoo if requested ie vet precribed. Owners are welcome to wait in the reception area and have a coffee and read a book ( we have a small libary of books and magazines) while their pet is groomed if they wish. Children are wellcome. We offer day care service and for a small charge we can pick your pets up and deliver them home Please feel free to call in or phone for information. I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I have a number of tv and film stars who are clients such as Betty of Eastenders fame seen here with a some  day boarder friends. we ask that all pets have up to date shots and we can facilitate feeding of puppies and kittens and give medications if required. As I tell my staff remember every pet is someones star . Here thats what they get the star teatment!
